Language that cares
At ACS we have launched our Language that Cares Charter in consultation with children and young people to help ensure that we all use language which is more positive and more importantly sanctions by our children and young people.
Following a consultation with our children and young people from across our fostering agencies, I am delighted to be able to launch our ‘Language That Cares’ SPEAKING charter, a pledge which we will all actively sign up to across ACS. The words we use about our children and young people from this point forwards will be more positive, based on strengths and more importantly, have been driven and sanctioned by our children and young people.
We need Muslim foster parents because we believe every child deserves to grow up in a loving, nurturing family home – somewhere they can feel valued and have their own identity.
We need Sikh foster parents because we believe every child deserves to grow up in a loving, nurturing family home – somewhere they can feel valued and have their own identity.
We need Christian foster parents because we believe every child deserves to grow up in a loving, nurturing family home – somewhere they can feel valued and have their own identity.
We need Jewish foster parents because we believe every child deserves to grow up in a loving, nurturing family home – somewhere they can feel valued and have their own identity.
We need Catholic foster parents because we believe every child deserves to grow up in a loving, nurturing family home – somewhere they can feel valued and have their own identity.
