Celebrating Success at the ACS Achievement Awards
The ACS Achievement Awards in Blackpool brought foster families, staff, children and young people together for a fantastic day of celebration, with more than 50 children receiving certificates and trophies in recognition of their outstanding achievements.
ACS Children’s Achievement Awards in Blackpool
It is always special to take time to celebrate the achievements of children and young people, and this year’s ACS Achievement Awards in Blackpool did exactly that.
Foster families, staff and children came together for a fantastic day of recognition and celebration as more than 50 children received certificates and trophies for their outstanding achievements. The awards recognised a wide range of accomplishments, from learning to swim with confidence, being a great role model, for sharing and being kind, preparing for GCSEs and 100% attendance at college. We also celebrated a birthday of one of our young people.
One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity for children to meet two special characters who were there to greet guests and help make the event even more magical. They proved incredibly popular, bringing plenty of smiles and photo opportunities.
The ceremony was a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge the hard work, determination and resilience shown by our children and young people throughout the year. Every award winner had a story to tell, and it was inspiring to see so many young people being recognised for their efforts and successes.
The event was made even more special by the support of foster families and ACS staff, who were there to cheer on the children and young people as they collected their awards. The pride on the faces of those receiving certificates and trophies was matched by the pride of those supporting them.
From Awards to Adventure
Following the awards ceremony, families had the chance to enjoy everything Blackpool has to offer. Despite the weather being a little cooler, it certainly did not dampen anyone’s spirits. Many took to the rides at the Pleasure Beach for some adrenaline-fuelled fun, and there was even time for a stroll along the beach and seafront, taking in the sights and making memories together.
